Lash enhancement, or invisible/baby liner as it's also called, involves tattooing an ultra-thin black line along the top lash line to create the illusion of fuller, darker, thicker lashes for a natural, youthful, eye-opening effect. Depending on your preference, the bottom lash line can also be subtly tattooed. The Initial price includes the 4-6 week touch up and clients can opt for top and bottom lash line or for one or the other.
Permanent lash line enhancement is the perfect way to have professionally applied soft eye liner, 24 hours a day.
Lash line enhancement subtly adds definition and colour to your lash line. This treatment is carefully implanted along your lash line and in-between all the tiny eyelashes. Giving your eyes a more awake appearance. If you prefer a bolder look, you can choose a medium thickness or have the line built up over a series of sessions to create a thicker liner.
You will never have smudged or uneven eye liner again!This is a great treatment for people that struggle doing their eyeliner every day, have naturally light lashes or have an unsteady hand or poor vision.
Lash enhancement softens 40-60% once healed; this can make the initial colour in the first 24-48 hours quite bold. The pigment will look like its falling away in the first few days of healing but after 10+ days the pigment will settle and heal in the skin. After the full 4-6
weeks you will see the true healed colour result.
As lash enhancement is around the eye, your technician will have to be extremely careful. We always avoid working to deep in this area as the skin is very thin. This is why the touch up appointment is always required so your technician can build on your lash line. Sometimes the skin in this area can initially reject some pigment and the touch up reinforces this, allowing us to then adjust the depth of this treatment.
End results for this treatment are softer and natural- not a heavy eyeliner look.
Lash enhancement is completed in two sessions. The first takes around two - three hours. In this first session, a full consultation is carried out and thickness and length/position of the line is chosen based on the client’s preference and eye shape. The treatment is then completed. Four- Six weeks later, the client returns for the second session/ touch up. A touch up can take anywhere from one- two hours. A touch up is necessary because all clients will heal differently and therefore results vary. In the touch up session, the final adjustments are made to assure the client’s satisfaction.
Lash enhancement can last anywhere from 6-18 months some results lasting over 2 years. I always recommend having colour boosts at around 12 months to maintain best results. This doesn’t go for everyone as some clients skin will hold pigment for longer. Some clients like to return at 8+months to keep the colour looking fresh, this can also be the case if that client’s skin doesn’t take as well to the treatment or if they have frequent exposure to sun/UV.*Please see the aftercare section for full details on how to prolong longevity for your semipermanent makeup treatments*
These treatments are called semi permanent because they will fade over time and annual boosts are required to maintain. But they are still PERMANENT because they will stay for a set amount of time. Pigment fades and breaks down in the skin over time. I cannot guarantee how long pigments will take to fade. You should understand that some pigment can stay in the skin indefinitely.
